As I see, you have hefty application which
you cannot keep on running in the memory. I think you can create a small
application which will occupy minute space in the memory heap. This application
can invoke necessary application at a predefined time.<o:p></o:p>

I need to create a windows service which will run
an operation on server at scheduled time of 00:05 hrs everyday.
Now if I use a timer to and use sleep then the service will be running
all the time on server and occupying memory. Is there any way that I can
free the memory and start the operation at the scheduled time and after
completion release the memory. <o:p></o:p>
I cannot use windows scheduled task as it will not run
if I log off from server.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Do let me know if there is any method I can do it.
Earlier I was using the jobs in MS SQL server but now the MS SQL
server has been moved to another machine.<o:p></o:p>
