              Hi Ravi,
 u can do this by following,

 in the page1's class u can write a property as

public string DropDownText
{
  get{ return DropDownList1.SelectedItem.Text;}
}

now u can do server.transfer as..

private void Button1_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
{
  Server.Transfer("Page2.aspx");
}

in the Page2's class.. u should write

private Page1  spage;

 and in the page load event ...u can set the spage variable as

private void Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
{
  // here i am setting the spage variable... by typecasting the context.handler
   spage = (Page1) Context.Handler;
 // here i m accessing the value of that dropdown list by the property
defined in page1 class.
   TextBox1.Text = spage.DropDownText;
}

lemme know if u have ne concerns..

Thanks and Regards
Rahul Srivastava
