Hello, First let me clear our what I understood by your
question.. u mean that report is same, data is same everything is same.. but
you are trying to generate reports in two different methods, but its same
report. well, then second method of ADO.NET XML way is better, because its
faster.. the reason its faster is because, data is directly coming from the
database, whereas in first method, data is coming from the database, but then
its stored in variable and then its passed through parameters and many things
takes place.. so definately first method is slower compared to second method..
and also you need to write a good amount of code in first method, whereas
second method just needs to pass dataset to crystal report. Hope this clears
