Bobby,

U r problem can be solved by putting a ur child2.aspx page in a Frame :

Make a aspx page call him xyz.aspx put the below code in that :

<HTML>
        <title>XYZ</title>
        <FRAMESET Id="fSet" ROWS="100%,0%,*" FRAMEBORDER="0" framespacing="0">
                <FRAME NAME="PSI" id="psi" SRC="Child2.aspx" SCROLLING= auto
FRAMEBORDER="0">
        </FRAMESET>
</HTML>

it contains a frame set in which ur child2.aspx page is put.

And from Child1.aspx openwindow function open xyz.aspx page.

Ur problem will get solved.

Regards
Anurag Bhargava
