Hi,
I want to Know how to get First sheet name of Excel file without
creating Excel object of file.
i used below code::
strFile = OpenFileDialog1.FileName
' Create connection string variable. Modify the "Data Source"
parameter as
' appropriate for your environment.
Dim sConnectionString As String =
"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;" & _
"Data Source=" + strFile + ";extended properties = excel
8.0"
' Create the connection object by using the preceding connection
string.
objConn.ConnectionString = sConnectionString
' Open connection with the database.
objConn.Open()
dt = objConn.GetOleDbSchemaTable(OleDbSchemaGuid.Tables, New
Object() {Nothing, Nothing, Nothing, "TABLE"})
but GetOleDbSchemaTable Returns datatable with sorted order.so i m not able
to find which is the first sheet of excel.
is their any way to remove sorting order.
