hi   of course you can pass a connection object between procedures, but it 
wouldn;t make any practical sense.    ideally database operations are supposed 
to happen from a centralized location (the data tier). The connection is 
supposed to be opened and managed by this data tier. To access the connection 
object from any method within the data tier, you could declare the connection 
object globally.  There really shouldn;t be any practical scenerio where u need 
to pass the connection object to any other class.... unless of course you r not 
following n-tier principles and doing data access from anywhere and everywhere.
