If that is the only thing you want to do
when you say "refresh just the portion of the website"
Use Javascript to change to Image URL of the
object. Eg: http://javascript.internet.com/miscellaneous/change-image.html

Hey, i am developing a website for the board of education.
But, i have a little problem...
I dont know how to refresh just the portion of the website.
What i mean, is that like I will put a photo and have a link
in there "NEXT", and i want when they click on NEXT then just
the photo to change, not the whole page.
That would be very helpful and save me a lot of time. It is
just a basic WEBSITE. I have done some research on Google about
this, found a little info about Iframe but it wasnt any real
help. I think you understood what i mean. Thank you again for
your help.
