----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on MumbaiUserGroup
----------------------------------------------------------- From: HarshadP Message 1 in Discussion Hello All, Here is my query related to IIS authentication. As everyone can notice if Windows Authentication is "On" 1.User need to provide his credentials ( Username / Password ) on the first request. 2.If credentials are OK ,there is no need to pass ( Username / Password ) for subsequent requests to same virtual directory. >From above scenario we can conclude that.. 1.Browser passes through Request Object Username and password to Web Server at first time. 2.For subsequent attempts browser sends some information through Request Object which says user is "Authenticated". So here are my queries. What are the parameters of Request object which are consumed while communicating to Web server for Authentication -- Warm Regards, Harshad ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/mumbaiusergroup/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
