(Language Vb.net, Web Application) I have declared a variable named "strComment" as Protected string in code behind I have a function which takes integer as an arguement and returns back a string. I want to store the string string returned by the function in strComment in code inline. So i just wrote <% # strComment = _Comments.getDescription(DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"ID")) in code Inline In the above lines _Comments is the instance of the class which has getDescription function which takes integer as parameter and returns a string. I am not getting the out put.
