Hi Grp, wel i m new to DotNet as wel as DotNetNuke , wel
i hav seen the previous msgs of this grp all of ful of knowledge and experties,
wel frnds i m trying to install DotNetNuke on my system with the configuration
win xp, visual studio 2005 and sql server 2005 . i hav followed all the
instruction of the manual but i got this error , i hav followed following
steps. 1. i hav uninstalled all the files of dotnetnuke installation in
c:\dotnetnuke. 2. gone through its sequrity n sharing clicked on share this
folder given name Dotnetnuke goen to permission added a user ASPNET giv all the
permission to the user 3. goen to the Tools->folder Option->unchecked use
simple file sharing. now to iis 1. goen to web site -> default web site ->
created new virtual directory named DotNetNuke then given alias name Dotnetnuke
then asign it to C:\dotnetnuke folder. now back to DNN i hav opend a new
website with dnn tamplete in dotnet ide renamed its relase.config file to
web.config then in connection string i hav made changes like Server=server;
uid=sa; pwd=password; Initiall Catalog=DotNetNuke; and also changed the name of
add key frm sql.. to dotnetnuke at 2 places 1 at connection string and another
at app settings then also i m not able to install dotnetnuke can any one frm
u plzz help me.. there r few things that 1. my database is on server not on my
local m/c 2. i m tryin to install dotnetnuke version 4. try to help me asap and
if u k/w any tutorial then plz send it to me....
