hi,
The solution to your below query is
Hi, guys, I have a table which contains 3 fields: value, date1,date2
In my application I would provide a date which will check if it is between
the dates 'date1' and 'date2' and if so, will return the corresponding
'value' as result. Could someone please tell me how to do this. Regards

from tablename
where (date1 between provideddate and provideddate
or date2 between provideddate and providedate)
Note: The bracket is opening bracket and closing for where is imp.
