Dear all, I am trying to use profilers for ASP.NET
application. The profiler i am using is CLRProfiler. Its documentation tells me
to change the machine.config. In which the ProcessModel tag should have
username="SYSTEM". So i added this to the process model tag. After adding this
when i am trying to run my asp.net application it gives me the following error:
Error while trying to run project. Unable to start debugging on the web
server. Server side error occurred on sending debug HTTP request. Make sure the
server is operating correctly. Verify there are no syntax errors in the
web.confug by doing a debug.start without debugging. You may also want to refer
to the ASP.NET and ATL Server debugging topic in the online documentation.
When i cancel the changes in the machine.config, my application runs fine. But
on click of "Show Heap now" button CLR profiler gives the message "There was no
response from the application." Kindly help me with this. Thanking you.
Sincerely, Swimmy.
