If not, you can not cast it to datarowview If you write code inside <ItemTemplate>, any code that you write in between, will be run for each item of the datasource i.e. If you set the datasource to dataview, every item in the dataview will be datarowview. If it is datatable, it will be datarow Container.DataItem will return datagriditem if the container is datagrid.
