----------------------------------------------------------- From: hereiam_always Message 3 in Discussion Hi Swimmy You can't not create the folder named CON , LPT1 , COM1 etc, and the reason behind is the MS-DOS or DOS underlaying your OS Even you won't be able to create the Other Directories with above mentioned names. CON represents Console., LPT1 it Parallel Printer Port and so forth.... But you can create such directories using Command Prompt Say you are working on C:\ now you want to create directory named CON on C:\ Simply Type this commnad D:\mkdir \\.\c:\con I am sure you will be able to create it try with other names also.
