----------------------------------------------------------- From: dhaval_faria Message 4 in Discussion C# is used more.. personally I feel because it looks more of a programming language and because people form C++ and Java background can easily learn C# I use a vb.net, I dont see much advantage of using C# over vb.net, unless I want to use pointers.. which is no no in .net :) as far as performance is concerned there's hardly any gain in performance if u use C# over vb.net, there is a gain.. but its hardly noticable. but yeah if you use pointers in C# then huge performance increment but agian no no to pointers in .net. if you are good with vb.net you can use vb.net, and things which you cant do in vb.net which is hardly anything except Pointers that I can think of you can write that particular portion in C# make its dll and add reference to your vb.net code :) use .net use multi lingual.
