----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on MumbaiUserGroup
----------------------------------------------------------- From: K-Logu Message 2 in Discussion In ur front end u may use this connection string in multiple location and if directly write the connection string will works fine. But in future if the customer move the sqlserver to another server u need to find all the occurance of the connection string and change them and rebuild the application and reinstall the application in client. But if u write this in web.config u need only a text editor to change the the connection string. using connection string in web.config does not mean 2tier / 3tier / n tier architecture ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/mumbaiusergroup/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
