The problem was i had derived the installer class and had overridden install() and uninstall() APIs. In install i was registering the plugin. But at the time of Uninstall i did not unregister the assembly. Adding the code of Unregistering an assembly at the time of uninstall solved the problem. Thanks and Regards, Jay S.
