But you let me tell you that it is not a programming language but just a way of developing applications using more of javascript, xml etc. This is not a new style of programming and has always existed. It's just that a few popular sites have been adventurous enough to implement it, the best example being Gmail. Microsoft always had Remote Scripting even before AJAX got it's name.
