----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on MumbaiUserGroup
----------------------------------------------------------- From: girja27 Message 1 in Discussion Hi , SQL Notification Services in Server 2005 is a highly scalable development framework and hosting platform for notification applications. We have successfully used it in one of our projects. But it seems that Microsoft has decided to deprecate this in SQL Server 2008 & decided to provide some of the functionalties in Reporting Services Can someone who has hands on exposure of using SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services kindly provide some insight into how Notification Services has been clubed into Reporting Services & whether existing NS application will be backward compatible in SQL Server 2008. Thanks & Regards Girija ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/MumbaiUserGroup/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
