----------------------------------------------------------- From: SanjayWakhare Message 1 in Discussion Hello Every one I have made a custom control.(cn.dll) for windows application (Winforms). I want to use this in my other winforms projects. In my new project I right click on the toolbox. > choose item... On the NET component page I browse my DLL and add it to my project. It is visible on the tool box. I can drag it on to the form. I can see my control on the form but when i Build my project i get an error saying the reference to Custom Control could not be found. Under references the cn.dll is shown with an exclamatory mark. When I manually remove it and add into reference again it works. Why is this so? Why dragging the control does not add a proper reference. I also tried installing the .dll in GAC. but in vain. Please throw some light on this.....
