Problem statement: I want to fetch 10 rows( specifically 10th to 20th
row) in the result set irrespective of the query and irrespective of the where
condition. Possible answer to achieve this in sql server 2000: In sql
server 2000, we used to fetch all the rows in the table and insert the same in
a new table with an additional identity column. Afterwards, i can fetch the
specific rows using identity column values. Possibility with sql server 2005:
Its not the case in sql server 2005, we can achieve it using rownumber()
function. Please check my blog for more information on Rownumber() function.
