Hi, I'm experimenting with smartcard_netlogin-0.1, and have set everything up as described in the HOWTO. Having added appropriate users and groups, I'm trying to create "real" users and smart cards with netaccountadd (section 6.3). However it doesn't work, so I wondered if anybody could make sense of this debug output? I'm using a GemPlus GPC410-FD (serial) with Schlumberger Cryptoflex 16K cards - they seem to work OK with the earlier smartcard_login for local authorisation.
# netaccountadd -uid 102 -aut0 2C15E526E93E8A19 uid: 102 aut0: 2C15E526E93E8A19 reader: 0 CA Dir: /Root_CA CA RDN: Root_CA LDAP-Conf: /etc/openldap/ldap.conf LDAP-Passfile: /etc/openldap/ldap.secret LDAP-Host : 127.0.0.1 LDAP-Port : 389 LDAP-ROOTDN: cn=admin,o=netproject,c=gb LDAP-PWD : (removed) NSS_BASE_PASSWD: ou=people,o=netproject,c=gb Connect to SmartCard .Retrieving readers'list : .Connecting to the card : .Select MF Send: 00 A4 00 00 02 3F 00 Receive: 6A 86 Can't select MF No changes made for ldap, smartcard and CA It seems "6A 86" means "Check Error - inconsistant parameters P1-P2", if that helps. As expected, I get "6D 00" (Check Error - instruction code not supported or invalid) if I try it with a GemClub Memo card inserted since it's not suitable. Thanks in advance for any thoughts, Sean Atkinson. -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup _______________________________________________ Muscle mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.musclecard.com/mailman/listinfo/muscle
