I recently was very impressed by a sun demonstration, where the smart card slot was built right into an all-in-one pc(thin client solution). I saw the smart card inserted, then that person's desktop came up. then, the card was yanked out, and put into another client, and the desktop dissapeared, and reappeared on the second pc the card was slid into.
