You don't get the source code through the online update, but on their website in the FAQ it says about the Towitoko Chipdrive: "Ein Open-Source-Treiber fr diesen Gertetyp mit serieller Schnittstelle ist verfgbar. Dieser sollte prinzipiell funktionieren." Which basically says: "An Open-Source-Driver for this device with serial port is available. It should work." And then there are some hints how to compile and use it, that they don't support it, etc. There's also a link to http://www.geocities.com/cprados/. This was probably written before the towitoko driver was available through the online update. > - if they are distributting the Towitoko driver along > with some licensing note. I didn't find such notes in the manual (pdf-file) I have, but I bought moneyplex long before the towitoko-driver was included and don't know if the manual is updated through the online update. There are no readme files in the driver directory (of my moneyplex installation). > I'm asking this question here because I have more than > serious suspects that the binary driver they are > distributing is basically the free towitoko driver > written by myself, with some adaptations.
