Thanks for the clarification between the GemPC400 and GemPC410 drivers.

Never the less, the suggestion I made may help the person who inquired (Paul Tan), as sometimes if you are stuck on the problem trying different approaches will eventually solve the problem, but you are the expert not me.

The bug in GemPC410 v.0.6.5 driver is that it can't establish connection with the pcsc GemPC410 reader device. David Corcoran is more familiar with this problem as he and I were on the phone when we discovered the problem. When I reconfigured with the GemPC410 v.0.6.4 driver the problem went away.

Hmm! The GemPC400 and GemPC410 drivers have _nothing_ in common. I din't
think you should make generalisation here.

And please, when you find a bug the best you can do is to _report_ the
bug so it can be corrected. Of course you can also revert to an older
working version of the software.
