Hi, I have pcsc-lite version 1.1.1 working on two machines (FreeBSD 4.7 with a Kobil KANN Professional serial card reader). I wanted to use this on a third machine at a different location. I took my working configuration and the working pcsc drivers for the Kobil reader, but I have the folleowing problems on the new machine:
When I start the pcscd with /usr/local/sbin/pcscd -c /usr/local/etc/reader.conf , the whole system freezes when the reader is connected at COM1 and I have to reboot the system using the power button.. If the reader is connected at COM2 and the reader.config is changed to use COM2 I get the following output: # /usr/local/sbin/pcscd -d stdout -c /usr/local/etc/reader.conf pcscdaemon.c:258 main: debug messages to stdout pcscdaemon.c:238 main: using new config file: /usr/local/etc/reader.conf readerfactory.c:1318 RFInitializeReader: Attempting startup of Kobil Card Terminal 0 0. readerfactory.c:1060 RFBindFunctions: Loading IFD Handler 2.0 readerfactory.c:1355 RFInitializeReader: Open Port 2 Failed readerfactory.c:1190 RFUnloadReader: Unloading reader driver. readerfactory.c:219 RFAddReader: Kobil Card Terminal init failed. pcscdaemon.c:413 main: pcsc-lite daemon ready. After all that I think that it seems to be a hardware problem because both pcsc-configuration and Kobil drivers work on the other machines. Or might there be another problem? Does anyone have a hint what might be wrong here? Thank you in advance, tawi _______________________________________________ Muscle mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.musclecard.com/mailman/listinfo/muscle
