Hi!
We are using MIOTEC cards with SSH-Sentinel. As gateway we use linux with freeswan. For writing the certificates on the smart cards we use opensc. The CA is based on openssl. We kept the CA as simple as possible (no RA, no webinterface...). It is operated by some scripts.

We tried out Cryptoflex cards before MIOTEC, but had some problems there. Sentinel can only access those cards with the help of a pkcs11 library. Unfortunately this dll can only be found in one of the development packets from Schlumberger. This pack is not that expensive but we didn't want to buy it only to have this dll.

MIOTEC and some other cards are supported by SENTINEL without additional dlls.

Hope that helps,
If you need more information mail me.

Regards,
Peter

If Microsoft is the solution, can I please have the problem back?
