Hello Olaf,

I am really glad to get mail from *real* profis :-)

Yes, you can do it, and OpenSC does it. Check the code in src/pkcs15-init;
what you need to do is create BS (that's Basic Security, not the other sort
of BS :-) objects or type RSA, and initialiize them. Took me a while to
figure this out as the documentation isn't terribly precise on this..

That is really great news. It really safes me a lot of time. Thank you very much.

we have found a way, so that the eToken Pro can both encryption *and* decryption with one key. ( Encryption is almost only the reverse operation of decryption .. )

Do you mean encrypt/decrypt? That you can do both with one key is not
entirely suprising, it's even documented - and yes, decryption is the
reverse operation of encryption :)

I assume you mean decryption/signing. Depending on how the chip deals
with padding, it may indeed be possible to decrypt using the SIGN
operation. That's the way Stef implemented RSA decryption on the
Cryptoflex card. Never tried it for the eToken.

Oh, sorry. I have mixed up eToken with Cryptoflex. We used the same method as Stef for RSA decryption on Cryptoflex cards.

Cheers,

Arno Wilhelm
