Hi,

I've written yet another Linux-PAM login module which allows a X.509
certificate based user login. The certificate and its dedicated private
key are thereby accessed by means of an appropriate PKCS #11
module. For the verification of the users' certificates, locally stored
CA certificates as well as either online or locally accessible CRLs are
used. A first (beta) release of the package can be downloaded from:

http://n.ethz.ch/student/mariost/pkcs11_login/

The package is still a work in progress and - until now - has only been
tested with the PKCS #11 module from the OpenSC project and a
PKCS #15 formated cryptoflex 8k smartcard. As the intention of this
PAM module is to support as many smartcards with dedicated PKCS
#11 libraries as possible, I'd be glad if there were any volunteers who
could help me testing it (in particular with the MuscleCard PKCS #11
library). Anyway, any comments, suggestions and bug reports are
welcome.

More details as well as a description of the requirements which the
PKCS #11 modules must full-fit can be found at the before given URL.

Regards,
Mario
