Some months ago, I was given in this mailing list a link to Debian apt sources where I could download latest pcscd from unstable, backported to woody. I don't keep that link, thanks in advance for reminding me it.
If no longer available, I suppose I will not have much trouble backporting myself, but in this case, unfortunately somebody else would have to host them. ;)
