I've got a serial Towitoko CHIPDRIVE micro, but I can't get it working with PC/SC
under
Linux. I've installed the towitoko drivers 2.0.7 from //www.geocities.com/cprados/,
then used
it's tester program which communicates fine.

I then installed PCSC-lite-1.1.1, I copied the towitoko*.so files to the
/usr/local/pcsc/drivers/
directory (I had to create this directory myself). I then tried to edit the
reader.conf file by using
installifd. This didn't work, then I changed it manually by changing DEVICENAME to
TOWITOKO, instead of GEN_SMART_RDR. I also later tried changing CHANNELID to 1
instead of 0x0103F8, and then linking ttyS0 with /dev/pcsc/1, I'm not sure how that
works,
but it didn't help me.

Does anybody have any advice? If anybody has installed a serial Towitoko reader, what
are the exact steps you followed?

Thank you.
Joe
