PC/SC Lite in the next release will support access simultaneous to:
- different slots of a same reader if the ifdhandler allows this feature (i.e.the handling of the slot must be thread-safe. It is limited by the hardware used).
- identicals readers if the ifdhandler is thread-safe.
The PC/SC daemon asks theses features using tags provided to the function IFDHGetCapabilities.
In the CVS version and tested with "virtual ifdhandler/reader" it works fine (except a small bug when the connections are closed). There were 2 "virtual multi-slots (2 slots) readers" using the same ifdhandler.
