Hello all,

We are working on Gemcore chipset based smart card readers for our
current project. We are facing problems when testing with a Gemplus
GemXpresso Pro smart card.

1. GEMPC410 chipset reader :

With the GEMPC410 we could recognize the card and all slots under
windows 2k environment, but problem is under REDHAT LINUX v8.

Please see the status column of the following table:

To Summarize :
===========

1.On Windows PCSC.jar uses OCFPCSC1.dll to communicate the reader
(410 and 413).

2.On Linux Red Hat 8 we need a .so? file which is equivalent to
OCFPCSC1.dll

3.For Gemplus-terminal.jar, no .dll? or equivalent .so? is required,
whereas for PCSC.jar under windows OCFPCSC1.dll is required,
therefore an equivalent .so? file is required for this to
function under REDHAT LINUX v8.

On the Assumption that an .so file is required, we tried to generate the
.so? file as mentioned in the following link and it resulted in a RUN
TIME ERROR: Unsatisfied Link Error:

If anyone has the compiled working linux library for OCFPCSC please send
us ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) across which will be useful for our
testing. Also please advice us of the steps involved in creating the
setup for the testing.

Please help us in resolving the issue.

 Thanks and Regards

J. Benjamin
