I'm trying to undestand and eventually hope to write my own smart card linux drivers, i d/l the development kit from linuxnet, but have have also checked out the Towitoko driver documentation, which has the design structure, now according to that, the driver is made up of a "core" driver and interface (i.e CT-API/CT-BCS, IFDhandler, etc), does this apply to all linux smart card drivers?, also how does linux "talk" with the driver?, I apologise for so many questions, but any help, or doc's on writing smart card drivers in Linux will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
