Hi all,
I'm trying to learn how to write a smart card driver in Linux. I'm reading the CT-API howto page,CT-API 1.1, CT-BCS & Muscle PC/SC IFD Driver developer kit, and i'm not sure about a couple of things:

1) What is the difference between ICC command and a CT command?
2) It says "to begin writing your linux CT-API, you must be sure to have a working "communications port interface", what does that mean exactly?(so is it the API that we can use directly to communicate with the hardware)
3) What are the most basic source files, for the simplest driver, that are required?(I have seen some and they contain only ctapi.c, ifdhandler.c like for the de la rule driver, and only core functions required for reader to work, that is power up/down, card in/out (r they the four core functionalities or is there more?)

Sorry for so many questions, but any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers,

Sim

P.S. Is there any other documentation is should be aware of?
