hello again everyone, After updating my kernel from 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl to 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl. I get a very strange error with my still in developement stages usb driver. Particularly in my probe function, the prod_id and vendor_id that the OS pass to the function are incorrect, so the probe function always fails and the device is never claimed by my driver. The device's values are x10bf and x0001 but I the values being passed in are x0400 and x0201. I am sure of this because when I do "more /proc/bus/usb/devices" the values are the same as before the upgrade. Does anyone know why the OS might be doing this?
