Hello,

Trying to get familiar with different card types, I acquired this SCM
SCR335 reader which seems to be very close to the famous Towitoko
Chipdrive reader.

I then used PC/SC lite 1.2.0 with CCID driver from
http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid.html

I can successfully access processor cards, but no luck with memory
cards.

On the datasheet (http://www.scmmicro.com/security/SCR335.html) it is
written "Memory card support through SCM MCARD API".

Do we have such API on linux?
According to Ludovic's reply, the current CCID driver does not offer
this.

If I want to get this working, what do I exactly need:
-a new driver?
-an enhancement to current CCID driver?

I have some contacts with SCM support and they told me their reader is
"CCID compliant". Is it all what we need to be able to implement this or
do we require more info?

Ludovic also advised me to look at OpenSC/OpenCT but it seems this
reader is not supported at all there.

Many thanks for any help/info you could provide.

Francois.
