Anyone done it? - to acess a smartcard via its support TWI/I2C/SMbus protocol?
Can I just take a tap off the fan speed sensor, and insert an I2c smartcard/crypto processor into every older i386 motherboard, then get underneath the ACPI using linux?
This would be great for the China market, for example. Could take a few hundred million old 133Mhz Pentium boards, and add an modern AVR ICC via a fan swap?
