If I compare the files ccid/readers/GemPCTwin.txt and ccid/readers/GemPC433_SL.txt I find some differences. The GemPCTwin supports 5V, 3V and 1.8V cards and the GemPC USB (new name of the 433 SL if I am right) supports only 5V. But my CCID driver always uses 5V by default so it may not be so important. Also the GemPC Twin works in TPDU and the GemPC USB works in APDU. Both readers are clocked at 4 MHz. So even with 1 bit per clock cycle the maximum communication speed of a card would be 4 Mbps. I don't know if such a card exists. I think your choice will depend on the price, the form factor or the accessories [3].
