I have a really strange problem. It is with the LTC31 SERIAL reader ( http://www.c3po.es/ltc31.html , english translation by google http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=es&u=http://www.c3po.es/ltc31.html )
I have been using it for some time and it works quite good, both in windows and in Linux. But with some sims from G&D I get the error code for SCARD_W_UNRESPONSIVE_CARD. It is strange becouse this cards work perfectly with other readers but it doesn't obtain the ATR from this card.
The source for the linux driver for this reader is avalaible under a free license at http://www.c3po.es/downloads/ltc31/drivers/rs232/ltc3x_muscle_20031121.tar.gz. And I have noticed that the reader is described in the README as:
Warning: This driver is still considered incomplete and being tested.
It seems that more people have found the same bug with the same kind of cards. I am not compleatly sure if it is a problem of the hardware reader, the sim or the driver. It could be the hardware, because it doesnt work with windows, but just with this kind of card.
I will be nice to be able to prove who is wrong, the card issuer, ther reader manufacturer or the driver programmer. �Is there any way to debug further?. By the way, the driver has a debug mode.
