First of all, be more spesifc what you want. PCSC-Lite in Linux, or is 
it Windows (PCSC). Do you know if your smart card reader has a Linux 
driver if your gonna use Linux.

Do you want to use both Linux and Windows maybe? and what do you want to 
use it for? Login , email signing.. programming own apps with smart card 
login/support?
