Sir, I am using pcsc-lite.1.1.0 service for developing a smart card based authentication system for my terminal. I had developed it, but the problem is whenever the machine is going for an illegal shutdown the service could not be started anymore. Even I have uninstalled the pcsc-lite.1.1.0 service and again reinstalled it to get the service started. But the service could not be started at all leaving me with no options but to format the machine and again reinstall RedHat Linux 9.0 in my computer. But the problem will come again if there is an illegal shutdown. I think the port is not being freed before the starting of the process so, the port at which the reader is being attached i.e. the port which is mentioned in reader.conf file cannot be freed before starting the process after an improper shutdown in the machine.
