Hi, I wonder if anyone has problems with linux kernel 2.6 and towitoko drivers, too?
I often get "Generic Reader Error" (openct) or "Transmit failed" (pcsc+towitoko2). I tried four towitoko readers, and it is unlikely that all of them failed. I tried current as well as old versions of openct (known to have worked fine) as well as libtowitoko2 (current debian sarge) and all of them have issues. I also tried many different smart cards. So left is: I used the same laptop, and it is running linux kernel 2.6. Other people too report problems, so I wonder if we are bitten by linux kernel 2.6 serial driver issues. Has anyone here encountered similiar problems? Thanks for your help.
