Although a project that I participated in some while ago went through
the process of having a punch made, there is a serous risk of damage to
the chip, its connections to the contact area (the 'stamp') and/or the
seal between micromodule and plastic card body. Better to use a computer
controlled router, particularly if all you are doing is making a small
number. If the number is larger, better to go to a card manufcaturer.
