Until now i've used smart card readers in a Windows environment. Now i have to move them in a Linux environment and i had reliability problems with the readers i have at hand. So i'm searching a reliable reader to use in a Linux environment, with actively developed drivers and good technical support that follows the pcsc-lite development (my actual reader is sticked to the 1.1.1 version of pcsc-lite...)

BTW, the problem i'm having with my reader, a Castles Technology EZ100PU (USB interface) is that after several start/stop cycles of the pcscd daemon it stops working and i have to phisically unplug an re-plug it from the USB socket to let it work again. If you can help me also on this...

Thanks
ciao
