Hi Michael,

Two things would make XCard not see it.

- the path_to_muscle_plugins/services/MCardPlugin.bundle/Contents/ Info.plist does not have your card's ATR - You are not using the A00000000101 instance ID that it is looking for ...

Note: depending on your version of muscle stuff, MCardPlugin.bundle might be mscMuscleCard.bundle or like that ....

Thanks,
Dave

Hi,

I've got the muscle card applet loaded on a Samsung Javacard. Everything compiled and installed fine.

xcard cannot identify the card/applet. Is there something in the applet configuration I'm missing? Maybe there's something with the way xcard works, like checking APDU's against cards xcard knows???

FYI, I've also got our company's card platform (s-Choice OS) that I'm slowly porting (real slowly) the musclecard applet. It's a non- java platform that can be described as "listening" for java commands then executing them in its environment. We have a DES/ 3DES card that is -very- inexpensive as compared to javacard if anyone is interested.

I'm a newbie at this, so please state the obvious if needed.

Michael
