Very good point, except muscletool/xcard format command is buggy and does not
send the right classbyte (9E00). I cannot track this right now, since
cvs.alioth.org is still broken :( I never used the format option myself, since
I use the loader for these purposes.

Check whether the directory /var/lib/gforge/chroot/cvsroot/CVSROOT exists and the script has write-access to the CVSROOT/history file if it exists.
The script needs to place lock files in the directory the file is in as well.
