Hmm, here's the relevant part of the Readme:

5. Setting up a musclecard (optional, alternatives: xcard or muscleTool format

Ok, but now what are the right settings ???? I think you had reason when
you decided which parameter to add to your shell script.
The default sizes are the max for an 32K e-gate. You have enough space up to
three key/cert pairs.
Btw: I use the debian package muscletools in version 0.92-3. Is this too
old ??
Actually I cannot tell, since there are no version tags in CVS.
