Hello,

I have just committed a new version of muscleTools. There is much more than before. Actually it contains two version, one for the older MuscleCard plug-In and Card Edge Applet and one for my new developments. I have checked the old version to some details but not the format functionality, because I have no card at the moment for this. Maybe I will do this in some time, but maybe you can try.

        - genkeys can generate RSA, DSA and RSA-CRT keys
        - crypt can read from file and write output to file
        - Included man page in Makefile.am
        - improved autoconf checks
- support for version 2.0 of MuscleCard library, MuscleCard Plug-In, Card Edge 2.0 - crypt supports any combination of possible key - cipher - signature
algorithms Java Card 2.1.1 offers and the card is capable
          - enter PIN with keypad
          - deletekey command
          - deletepin command
          - AES support
          - resume supports returns new capabilities
          - extended format command

In some time I will include support for storing keys directly in PEM format and include support elliptic curves and some new algorithms of JavaCard 2.2 and hybrid cipher operations. But this is at the moment missing in the applet and need some more days.

Regards, Karsten

OK. You are now a member of the muscleapps and muscleplugins projects.
Just tell me if you have an access denied on something. You can also
ask me if in doubt about something.

I don't know, what the "guest" means.

It is because you are not a Debian developper. You are a guest on alioth.

What is
necessary for Alioth to maintain a project? It is a Debian related site,
so are there Debian packages necessary?

It is Debian related because the server is maintained by Debian
members. The only obligation is that the hosted projects are free
software. This should be describe on the site somewhere.

Regards,
