I've been attempting to get into the whole business of reading and
writing simple memory-chip smartcards, but I'm not quite sure which
reader to purchase. I've got an ACR30U, but (correct me if I'm wrong)
it only works under kernel 2.4, and as much as I'd love to devote a box
to smartcard development or reboot into 2.4, but those solutions are a
smidge impractical. Is there a reader that will function under 2.6 for
reading and writing memory cards?
